What do you think is more challenging: working at Disney and Ghibli or reviving Soyuzmultfilm? The implausibility of such a question and the new horizons of Russian cinema and animation are unveiled by Yuliana Slashcheva — the chairperson of the Animation Film Association, and the CEO of the Gorky Film Studio since 2019. Yuliana began her journey at CTC Media, which under her leadership became the first in Russia to reach a level of profitability in digital and transmedia directions. Under Yuliana's management, the Soyuzmultfilm studio signed significant agreements on the production and promotion of animation: two series with Channel One and four with the French Cyber Group. In the Ostankino telecenter, the "House of Russian Animation" technopark was organized. Animated series such as "The Orange Cow," "Vinyls," "Captain Kraken and His Crew," and "Pirate School" were released. At the Gorky Film Studio, with Yuliana's participation, a creative cluster program was launched. Yuliana is the recipient of the Grand Prix of the "Media Manager of Russia" award and is listed among the top executives in the "Media Business" according to "Kommersant".
