Sergey Minaev is a writer, screenwriter, TV and radio host, blogger, and entrepreneur. He has been involved in various projects on television, radio, and the internet. Minaev is the editorial director of the magazine "Rules of Life" (formerly Esquire in Russia). He is the author of bestsellers such as "Soulless: A Tale of a Fake Human," "The Chicks: A Tale of Fake Love," "Moscow, I Don't Love You," "Media Sapiens: A Tale of a Third Term," and others. In each of his works, Sergey accurately depicts life in contemporary Russia, offering sarcastic and often cynical commentary on the soullessness of the modern world. Many of his works have been adapted into film and television.Sergey is the creator and host of the internet show "Minaev Live," featuring informal interviews and conversations with guests, allowing viewers to call in and ask any questions. Since 2019, he has been developing his own YouTube channel with a focus on historical topics, where Sergey discusses historical events that have changed the world. In 2021, his six-part documentary project, "The Nineties," covering key events in Russia during the 1990s in the media industry, was released on online platforms Wink and more.tv.
