Russian manager and entrepreneur who oversees IT products, marketing projects in the IT, video game, and tourism industries. He is the head of the first industry association of video game developers in Russia, the Video Game Industry Development Organization (RVI). RVI is involved in supporting and promoting projects, as well as creating a positive image of game development and gaming culture in society, and attracting investments for the development of new domestic games. He serves as a bridge and liaison between businesses, academic and educational communities, and the government sector to enhance the attractiveness and development of the video game industry.In 2023, in part thanks to RVI's activities, the video game industry became an integral part of public discourse with a positive connotation. RVI established a support system for indie developers in Moscow through the IndieGO project, and established connections and partnerships with video game associations in China, Brazil, South Korea, Indonesia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Iran in the export sector. The first sociological study of the domestic gaming industry, "Gaming in Russia 2022," was conducted. The initiative to create the "Hall of Fame" for the Russian video game industry was also launched. Additionally, sessions were organized at key forums and events such as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Vladivostok Economic Forum (VEF), the Russian Creative Week in Moscow and Krasnoyarsk.From 2015 to 2019, Vasiliev was included in the annual ranking of "Top 1000 Russian Managers" presented by the Association of Managers of Russia and Kommersant Publishing House. He is also the author of the book "Manifesto of the Right Public Servant: How to Make a State-Owned Enterprise Profitable for the City" and holds a Ph.D. in Sociology.
