Vadim Duda is the Vice President of the National Library Association "Libraries of the Future," the coordinator of the Ministry of Culture of Russia's national project for creating model libraries in Russian regions, and the chairman of the International Cooperation section of the Russian Library Association. This national project, initiated by the Ministry of Culture of Russia, aims to create model libraries in various regions of Russia. As of the beginning of 2023, after four years of implementation, 850 new-type libraries have been opened. Model libraries are well-equipped spaces equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Vadim Duda has been serving as the General Director of the Russian State Library (Lenin Library) since 2018. This is the largest public library in Russia and continental Europe, and one of the largest libraries in the world. It houses a unique collection of domestic and foreign documents in 367 languages. The total volume of all collections exceeds 48.1 million storage units.
