Vladimir Spivakov is a People's Artist of the USSR, an Artist for Peace of UNESCO, and a full recipient of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland." He serves as the artistic director and chief conductor of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia and the State Chamber Orchestra "Virtuosos of Moscow." He is also the President of the Moscow International House of Music.As a soloist, he has performed with numerous symphony orchestras worldwide and has been a laureate of prestigious international competitions. For over 25 years, he has played a violin crafted by Antonio Stradivari, which was entrusted to him for lifelong use by patrons who admire his talent. His extensive discography as a soloist and conductor comprises over 50 albums. Under the label Spivakov Sound, he has released several recordings with the State Chamber Orchestra "Virtuosos of Moscow."For more than 20 years, the festival "Vladimir Spivakov invites..." has been held in Moscow every two years, featuring renowned artists of the global performing arts and emerging stars. He is the founder of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation, dedicated to various causes such as improving the lives of orphaned children, aiding sick children, and creating opportunities for the creative development of young talents. Over the years, the foundation has provided effective assistance to over 8000 children.
