Margarita Pushkina is an art historian, patron of young artists, and gatherer . She is the founder of the most extensive contemporary art exhibition-fair, Cosmoscow. Margarita left her job in a bank for the sake of contemporary art, and today, through her passion, she cultivates genuine interest in contemporary art, supports young artists, and annually makes Moscow the epicenter of the global art scene. Each time, she gathers hundreds of gallery owners and thousands of art enthusiasts from around the world.In 2020, Cosmoscow was included for the first time in The Art Market, an annual analysis of the global art market prepared by Art Basel and UBS. Margarita was named one of the 100 most important people in Russian art by The Art Newspaper Russia and was a nominee for the "Kommersant. Initiatives" award in the "Personal Contribution" category. She also appeared in the list of the "150 most influential people in Russia" according to GQ magazine.Today, Margarita is the initiator of various cultural, charitable, and educational initiatives implemented by Cosmoscow. These include the Off White charity auction, the educational program Cosmoscow Talks, the Foundation for Support of Contemporary Art, and others.
