Petrik

Film and animation/broadcasting

The projects of the Petrick studio prove that advertising can be a work of art and still be beneficial. Initially, the studio focused on motion design but eventually shifted its focus to creating animated characters, 2D and 3D animations. Petrick is well-known for its videos for Rovio and Atomic Heart, a series of commercials for HeadHunter (in which the studio's team compared entrepreneurs to superheroes), and a project for Tinkoff, based on which bank cards with images from the videos were released. The studio also created an animated project in support of the Moscow dog shelter 'Super Dog.' The project's website page is designed in the style of the 1990s and features nine profiles of dogs looking for homes. Each profile is accompanied by a short cartoon in which the dog, voiced by a celebrity, explains why it would make a great family member. In collaboration with the 'House with a Lighthouse' foundation, Petrick released a video highlighting the importance of palliative care and support for seriously ill children. The video portrays a child connected to a ventilator as a diver. Both social and commercial videos by Petrick achieve wide reach and bring benefits. For example, an advertising campaign featuring animated characters from Russian culture (in collaboration with the Tretyakov Gallery) increased the museum's annual visitor count by 15%. And a video on environmental topics, created in collaboration with Tinkoff, has been viewed over 120 million times.
